|
The FTW Ranch has been owned by Tim and Susan Fallon since 1996 and is currently 12,000+ acres. The main line of operations for the FTW by revenue source since 2005 is: |
||
1) SAAM TM, a world renowned Hunter Training Program, held throughout the year. The program readies hunters travelling worldwide to better prepare for their often dangerous and difficult hunts. |
||
2) U.S. Military, U.S. Government Agencies and U.S. Law Enforcement Training Facility. The FTW specializes in custom built ranges to suit training requirements by units of the United States Government. NOTE: the FTW does not do any Civilian Tactical Training whatsoever! All U.S Government training is done in private with no other operations or visitors allowed during training, unless agreed to in writing by the agency being trained. |
||
3) The FTW provides hunts for species born and raised on the ranch, including whitetail deer and 14 other species of endangered species from around the world that do well in the FTW’s very rugged mountains. |
||
4) The FTW has an extensive breeding facility for endangered or extinct species from around the world that are either released into the wild on the FTW or bought/sold into the Zoo industry throughout the U.S. |
CABINS
FTW Ranch has 13 private, well-appointed, comfortable guest cabins that are situated around the Lodge.  9 cabins have two queen size beds and 4 have a private bedroom with a queen, in addition to two full size beds in the main room.  All cabins feature an en-suite private bathroom, air-conditioning, linens/towels, fans and an area to hang clothing.
LAUNDRY
The Lodge has a guest laundry room with full-size washer and dryer for use during your stay. Â Detergent, bleach and dryer sheets are provided.
RIFLE RENTAL
FTW offers a wide selection of rifles and/or pistols (varying calibers, makes and models) that may be rented for $100 per day, plus the cost of ammunition, most of which may be purchased on the Ranch. Â This provides the perfect situation if you are in the market to purchase a new rifle and would like to sample a few before buying.
RANGES
The FTW Ranch offers twenty six diverse ranges located throughout the property. Â The Lodge Range, a known distance range, serves as the ideal spot to sight-in rifles. Â Most of the marksmanship ranges feature a covered shooting platform, which offers protection from the intense Texas sun, but not the wind, which makes them ideal for practicing wind calls. Â Several marksmanship ranges offer hunting targets out to 500 yards in addition to steel target ranges beyond 500 yards for target shooters.
Our drive-around shooting courses provide students with many different realistic and challenging hunting scenarios, where distances and conditions are not immediately known. Â Other ranges feature life-size, moving and interactive targets where students practice a series of drills designed to emulate running and charging game. Â Not all ranges are utilized during every SAAM course as some are customized for specific courses.
Package Extras
Items and services not included in the Hunt Package price include: Trophy Fees for any animal shot or wounded (wounded animals ARE considered harvested); Gratuities; Taxidermy; Shipping/Freight for any items shipped to/from the Ranch; and Airfare and Transportation to and from the FTW Ranch and any Hotels utilized or Meals consumed along the way.
Taxidermy and Trophy Care

Any taxidermy work arranged by us is subject to the taxidermist’s current rates. If you do not wish to take the meat with you, we can arrange for it be donated.
