I just returned from a sheep/caribou/moose hunt in the NWT, and wanted to thank you again for the excellent instruction I received at your school. I was focused on building my house when I took this sheep at 425 in the snow. Two other hunters had misses on this hunt, and I am convinced that your class has made me much more effective. Took this beautiful Stone Sheep last week in the Yukon…..493 yards and shoot to distance was 410….steep downward angle shot. All the prep and training at FTW again really paid off….it’s amazing how much confidence we have on these longer shots after going through the SAAM course. I knew the left to right wind would be an issue. But when we got into position for the shot, I didn’t feel the wind, turns out the wind was whipping through the valley. This likely would have been a gong show if not for the SAAM Training and subsequent practice! Thanks guys!
