I was my pleasure to attend a 2-day safari prep class with you May 11th & 12th. I would like to give a big shout out of thanks to my instructors.  I was pushed hard with the 2 handguns I brought and they definitely took me out of my comfort zone.  With my bolt action XP100 they took me out to 700 yards on the steel until I ran out of ammo.  The confidence it gave me on my recent Africa trip showed when a tracker commented “He’s deadly with that” after a one-shot kill on a Red Hartebeest off my sticks.

I was also pushed with my revolver on the moving/pop-up targets because I had mentioned that I had been guilty of “admiring my shot” on a previous trip.  I just came back from taking 2 cape buffalo at 2 different concessions.  On the 1st buffalo in KwaZulu Natal, I shot it once as it stood up and hit it again in the hip as it turned and ran.  On the second buffalo in Limpopo, I shot it once as it began to stand up, and twice more after it spun 180 degrees and started to run.  No more admiring my shot for me.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Looking forward to more excellent instruction at my scheduled 4-day class in February of next year.

Respectfully,
