I was on a spike elk hunt in NE Oregon near the tiny town of Tollgate. The shot was about 350 yards using my Weatherby 30-378. My buddy Dan Meyers was sitting next to me on a hillside when I shot. We both got different spike elk at the same time from the same herd.
