I was really thankful for my SAAM training while on the Mongolia Ibex hunt recently. Who knew I’d have to tap into everything I learned and all my tools to pull this off. Altai ibex was steep down hill at 380 yards. The Gobi ibex was even tougher, extremely steep uphill shot was made at 500 yards! Seriously I nailed stuff I would have in the past been very unsure of!
