The SAAM class we took in the past gave us a great introduction to long range shooting and helped us start developing our rifle skills for quick clean harvests on our hunting trips in Wyoming.   The Partner assist shooting session came into play during our guided Moose hunt last year.  We closed from 1000 yards to 300 yards on a big mature Moose, but couldn’t get any closer without him eyeing us.   However, that put us in a patch of willows hip high with no good foundation to shoot from, and the guide forgot his shooting sticks in the vehicle!  So Alexandra nelt on the ground to give me a base to stabilize my rifle. I knew I was dialed in correctly after learning how to do so during the SAAM class.  And success!! I was able to make a confident kill shot at 300 yards.

Many Thanks,

Anthony & Alexandra

Tim ,

Wanted to send you these photos of my Elk hunt in New Mexico.  The Hunter prep last weekend before my hunt was instrumental in me executing the shot on this Bull.  7×6 scored 352. 581 yards cross canyon 3 mins wind hold.  One shot. He dropped.  The interesting thing is how many times I made this same shot during our Hunter prep class. I saw the same conditions that gave me the confidence that I had this one. It was a tough hunt but when the time came I was well prepared thanks to you and your team.

Thank you ,

I would like to thank FTW Ranch for an amazing hunt! Top notch people throughout, kind, friendly, and above all, helpful! The guidence and instruction I received from our guide Fredo made me into a better shooter, and I could not have done it without these wonderful people. Thank you!

Conditions were really challenging. -20 degrees centigrade at the warmest. Mornings started at -28. Altitude from 13,000 to 16,000 feet.

Was able to get 8 trophies in Tajikistan. Longest shot at a Bukharan Urial at 765 yards.

I can’t imagine going to such a challenging hunt without first going to the SAAM and doing training right!

Thanks Tim!

I started hunting/shooting at 40 years old and struggled for years until I went to SAAM.  My confidence level soared after one SAAM class.  I have been to SAAM 3 or 4 times.  Every time I go I feel more confident with the shots I am taking on paper or animals.  I also recognize when I don’t need to shoot which is the most valuable lesson SAAM taught me.  I managed a 370 yard shot on the side of a mountain after moving locations 3 times to get the right setup for me. My last two safari’s have been a huge success. Thanks to SAAM!
